Sandman® LSB series Vertical Sand Pump is used for Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), and serves as a critical component within the mud circulation and recovery system. It transfer and pumping drilling fluid (bentonite) from mud pits or collection tanks into desanders and desilters.

• Use the LSB150‑55 vertical sand pump to extract river sand and slurry with a solids content of approximately 30% and transport it over long distances to sand yard stockpiles.
• Multiple LSB100-40 vertical sand pumps are operated in parallel to clear silt and sediment from reservoir bottoms, conveying the slurry to onshore settling ponds.
• LSB200-65 vertical sand pump extracts tailings slurry, fine sand, and slag, transporting these materials to a tailings storage facility.
• LSB80-35 vertical sand pump is used for settling ponds for slurry extraction and fine sand recovery, working in conjunction with filter presses.
