Mission 6x5x14-12 Tungsten Carbide Block Impeller for HDD and Mud Mixing System

Sandman® Mission Magnum C-pump 6x5x14 with 12” Impeller in Tungsten Carbide Block, the TC block is a premium wear-resistant upgrade specifically suit for Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) mud recycling systems and mud mixing transfer applications. The thick TC tiles or blocks brazed onto vane surfaces provide exceptional abrasion resistance against sand-laden bentonite, polymer muds common in HDD, extending impeller life 3-5 times longer than standard hard iron in high-solids environments.
Mission Centrifugal Pumps are a gold standard in the HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) industry for handling abrasive drilling fluids, mud circulation, and slurry transport. The heavy-duty pumps are engineering for reliability in demanding environments like oil/gas drilling, mining, and HDD. They’re renowned for their open impeller design, which minimizes turbulence and wear when pumping high-viscosity, sand-laden muds—critical for trenchless operations where surface disruption must be minimal. In HDD, they excel as mud transfer pumps, mixing pumps, and circulation boosters, enabling longer bores (up to 3,000 meters) without frequent downtime.
Key Features of Mission Magnum I Pumps for HDD:
Design Advantages: Concentric casing for reduced abrasion; wide open-vane impellers for smooth flow and lower axial thrust; full pipe-diameter entrance to cut turbulence.
Material Options: Hard iron, stainless steel, aluminum bronze, or high chrome alloy for corrosion/abrasion resistance.
Power Configurations: Unitized with electric motors, diesel engines, or hydraulic drives; horizontal, vertical, or close-coupled setups.
